Between 1979 and 1989 Graham Stokes worked as a record promoter for some of the country’s leading labels. Beginning in the postroom at Arista Records he went on to run campaigns at DJM Records, Towerbell Records, Island Records, London Records finishing up as Head Of Promotions at MCA Records.

Conehead is one of the UK’s newest independent record labels. Launched in May 2009 our first release; the Peter Andre album ‘Revelation’ went platinum selling over 300,000 copies. Two further top 10 albums followed; ‘Love Songs’ and ‘Accelerate’. To date Peter Andre has sold over half a million albums with Conehead. Since then we have released albums by the legendary Engelbert Humperdinck, Julian Lennon, ‘X Factor’ finalist Rhydian, ‘I’m A Celebrity’ winner and ‘X Factor’ finalist Stacey Solomon.
Our Scandinavian releases include Norwegian starlet Tini, Swedish pop/dance act BWO, Finland’s musician extraordinaire Osmo and another great act from Sweden; Oh Laura. We are also home to Canadian indie In-Flight Safety. Alvin Stardust is our latest signing and although he sadly passed away before his album was released Conehead was honoured to work with him if only for a short period of time.
