Swedish singer Magnus Carlson guests, singing live with Jools and the band, and choosing his favourite records.

Magnus – making his UK radio debut – is one of Sweden’s best loved and most versatile singers. He’s as at home with the Gothenberg Symphony Orchestra as he with his indie rock band Weeping Willows, singing Elvis with the Sweet Inspirations or blasting out a Northern Soul classic.

His record collection is the first port of call for people like Noel Gallagher and Mick Jones of the Clash when they visit Stockholm and – although you can’t see this on the radio! – his dancing skills are second to none.
